The National Fitness Campaign, in partnership with the nation’s largest healthcare providers, aims to design Fitness Courts® as kinetic art pieces to showcase the value and inspiration born from connecting the power of the arts with the joy of wellness. In January 2025, a request for qualifications was shared by Arts Huntsville, in search of artists interested in creating art for the future fitness court at Hays Farm Park in South Huntsville. Mid-February I received notification that I was one of three finalists, and at the end of March I was announced as the chosen artist for the project! In December 2025, Huntsville’s newest outdoor fitness court and my mural were revealed to the public.
