Embrace the breathtaking expanse of motion and light with A Journey Together, an original mixed-media piece that combines classic painting with tactile dimensionality. Featuring a dramatic panoramic format, this artwork displays a vast sky shifting from soft twilight blue into rich sunset oranges and fiery reds, set above a lush, dark treeline silhouetted along the horizon. Across this open canvas, swooping formations of birds dance in fluid, ribbon-like streams across the sky.
Each individual bird is meticulously hand-crafted from paper and applied to the acrylic surface to create an immersive 3D effect. Designed to interact dynamically with room lighting, directional or angled light catches the raised paper elements, casting soft highlights and delicate shadows that give the artwork a sense of movement and depth. Its long 12" x 36" proportions make it an ideal focal point above a mantel, bed, or sideboard.
